All three churches are prominent landmarks in the community.  St. Augustine’s is an imposing figure on the Penarth headland and can be seen for miles around.  Holy Nativity is the first welcoming site as you enter Penarth under the railway bridge, with its belfry housing two bells. St. Dochdwy’s is situated on the top of Llandough hill and its distinctive tower can be seen nestled in the woodland from as far afield as Caerphilly Mountain.
